Service manual ???

So where can a guy that wants to do his own tinkerin get a service manual so that he can make sure he does it right? I don't want to go to the stealership. Is there one on CD? My old bike had manuals on CD. Could someone make me a copy of their manual? I would be happy to pay for the paper and shipping.

I got mine off eBay. Mine is the book and it was about $60 (stealer wanted $87+ tax), you can get it on a CD for 99 cents + $4 S&H. You just have to look for either the 1500 or 1600 Nomad manual

I bought the Kawasaki service manual for about $60 from http://www.repairmanual.com/motorcycles/2007/34/0/19404.

I got mine on Ebay, they come up time to time, Ive seen a few go for about $35.00 + shipping.

I just picked up the Clymer manual this week off eBay, I think it was $36 inc tax and postage. (book i.d. number M471-3). It's not specific to the Nomad, but after reading a number of other posts it seemed like it would be good enough.

I'll never use 90% of it, but you've only got to fix one small thing yourself and it's paid for itself.

Be happy to scan and email a few sample pages if you want to see what kind of detail it has..

the clymer covers all classics, drifters and nomads up to 2004 i believe. i bought one and it covers my 2003 nomad nicely.

I got a 1600 Classic OE manual 3 weeks ago on ebay for about $22 + shipping. At the time the seller said he had 5. He had a phone number of 570-874-1522.

I got a Kawa manual off eBay a while back and it was about $50 plus shipping. It is the same one that they have at the stealership.
