can we make reservations at the Hampton Inn yet???

Haven't been able as of yet to make it to The Hampton Inn to talk with them person to person and see if they'll offer or make us any type of special prices on rooms.
However since we've yet to reach the minimal number of rooms to create a block out on the rooms I would suggest going ahead and making reservations at this time and finding out individually what their cancellation policy is so anyone who is interested in attending the Rally can go ahead with their reservations now and if anything arises they can just cancel themselves..

Is everyone okay with this?

As of 02/08/2016:
Took a trip over to The Hampton Inn to discuss room availability with the management with again "No Luck"..
So, as of right now they said there was still some available rooms (not a bunch) if I remember correctly there were somewhere in the neighborhood of maybe 25 rooms still showing unreserved.
So if you are planning on using The Hampton Inn my advice would be to go ahead and book your room now.
And if something that would prevent you from making the Rally were to arise you can always cancel your reservations, as long as you cancel before 48hours of your reservation.

Spoke also with the restaurant that we had used in 2009 about a place for the Banquet and they're saying as long as we make reservations 2weeks in advance they would accommodate us...

According to Goose go ahead and make your reservations for the Hampton Inn, if we get in touch with the Manager and get a better deal then you can reserve a room at that rate and cancel your other reservation as long as it is 48 hours in advanced we will keep trying to get ahold of manager . If anyone has dealt with them before and knows the Manager your help would be appreciated

The rally dates are June 20th thru 24th. Is everyone leaving on the morning of the 24th or 25th?

We'll be leaving on the 24th heading for Johnson City, TN. If anyone is going that way I'd enjoy a bit of company.

I think most will depart on Friday the 24th some that are close may stay longer our final dinner will probably be the 23rd.
