Orthopedist Visit

I went to see the ortho Dr this morning for the left knee.

He told me that it was the worst knee he had seen in years and the only way to fix it was a total replacement.

After explaining to him that I wasn't at a place in life where I could take the time needed to recover from that kind of procedure he suggested some injections and meds.

He thinks I can get another 1 1/2 -2 years out of it by using cortisone injections and pain meds.

That will give me time to plan for having it done.

At least I should be more mobile than I was at the Helen rally.
