Good and not so good news

Just got back from the Osteo Surgery Clinic in Columbia, MO. Good news is that they do not think that I need to have my hip replaced and that the pain I am having is still lower back related. So I am being sent to a back specialist in a couple of weeks. Also they believe that I have Burcitis in my hip causing part of my pain. So I am starting on some physical therapy and whatever else needed to get it cleared up. So come on warm weather I am getting ready to ride.

Take it easy while you can. I'm sure Liz is pretty sympathetic to your recovery time and doesn't expect too much right now.

Not having to take pills and not having any pain is a good thing. We're thinking about you and Liz Jim.

Jim,
Not needing the hip surgery seems like really good news, I hope you are able to avoid the back surgery as well. I'm not sure how many people saw your update. For those who may have just clicked the "new" button, take a read of the first post.

Plan to. I was just asking in another thread what the typical schedule is. I see people talking about coming on the 23rd. Not sure how much time Ann will want to take off, so I was a little curious what we might miss if we didn't get there until afternoon of the 24th.

I have not gone over the rides with Jim yet so I don't know what he has planed but I think probably there would be a morning and an afternoon ride on Thursday but I am not sure we will go over everything as we get closer to the rally date, but the longer you can stay the more fun it is.
