Waving Extra fuel

Well its a cold windy day in Southern Ontario, just thinking about next month , getting the bike out. Does anyone have any ideas on products for safely carrying extra fuel onboard for long trips. I thought i saw a product advertised some time back. Any info would be appreciated. Flexible

I have seen people use "unapproved" containers for extra fuel... but when considering the dangers of carrying fuel... you would be well-advised to use something designed specifically for fuel.

The container needs to be able to "breath" so it doesn't expand too much and leak... besides being made of a durable material that is thick enough to avoid puncture, yet flexible enough to survive a collision without cracking.

The one TC provided looks like a great option.

This one will work. Where are you going that you will need the extra range?

The link TC used shows one (same brand) for a HD.

Did not notice it was for HD but they both look the same to me.
I think they are generic.

TC - if you go to their web site you can see the different shapes. They make them to fit the contour of the saddle bag. The HD has a more square contour to the back of the bag. That is why they are slower than the Nomad

Must be my old eyes Bill. I looked at them sitting in the saddlebags of different bikes and even the spyder. They all look the same to me.
I would order the one for the Kawasaki just to be on the safe side though.

They are all the same. Do a search, this has been a hot topic lately and Ron Reda has responded to my email asking the question about this and he said the website is just showing the installation and fitment in various bikes, not different shaped containers.

That's what I thought but it wasn't worth arguing over.
Sometimes I actually let things slide.
