Oldbiker, don't let that reckless fairing cause you to be reckless. Congratulations, I don't have fairing on mine but my '83 Goldwing did. It makes all the difference in the world. You can ride in almost any weather and I did with mine. All except ice or snow that is.

I only got two brackets with mine. Just the ones you've got on there now are the only one's you need. Are the other two brackets the same?

Could they have sent you a set of 1500 and a set of 1600 brackets?

I took a good look at the brackets and they are spacers the 1500 forks must be a little wider so they send to plates for spacers to fill in works great see pictures.

CJ this is what it looks like with only 2 speakers some how the wrong 2 holes got opened but after looking at it I like it this way

The 1500 is actually about a 1/2" narrower than the 1600 and the mounting bolt holes should be a little off from the 1600. They probably include both brackets for both bikes.
I'd say drill out the other speaker holes and mount 4. My WOC has 4 and I figure might as well be heard.
I am curious to see the angle of the windshield when it is mounted. Mine tends to angle back a little more than the Hardly's. When you get it done post a good side shot showing the fairing and windshield please.
Thanks, Bill

Remember, as a last resort, read the directions. Or, just ask someone who knows. ;) Looks like you'll be ready what ever the weather now.
