Just wondering if anyone has bought this one instead of building from scratch? If so how well does it tow?

Does Kawasaki make the rear rack for the 1700 that they did for the 1600? I used that with a sissy bar bag, mounted on the sissy bar and facing backwards, when My wife and I traveled. With that we had sufficient room for our tent, sleeping bags, clothes, etc. for trips that spanned the country. Much easier and less expensive than a trailer.
