Our usual route to Arkansas from Magnollia takes us through Trinity and up 94 into Lufkin. It looks like that's where we cross paths, so I'm thinking Lufkin. Not half way there yet, but well on the way. We leave the house some where around 7:30ish. Depends on the weather.+ my wife's coffee consumption and just how early I can get her to take that first cup.

Scott, Our plan is to go to Palacios with our rv. Some friends are coordinating the deal and invited us to tag along. They have an rv, boat, and reservations.

I know nothing about the gulf coast. I thought you were two hours from where we are staying.

The extended forecast for OKC is warmer and dry than usual and what goes through here goes though Arkansas. Lets hope they are right for once!

Well we are a couple of weeks away till the rally. This wil be a small gathering we have appx 10 people so far. We have one ride route so far... Not to many people seem to know the area so we will do this "walk about" style. We have a great group attending and I know we can put it all together on the fly. We will probably have a barbeque one day with a small ride, we also have a long day ride planned, thanks to budman for the route. And if there are any takers we might take a night adventure to try and see the Gurdon lights, they have been featured on Unsolved Mysteries, look them up and see if your interested we are 15 minutes from them. Looking forward to seeing everyone, and getting a little saddle time in, last time I rode was for the Antlers Rally

Out of Antlers take hwy 3 east to Broken Bow keep straight onto hwy 70 east all the way to Glenwood AR there take hwy 8 east to Arkadelphia AR to I 30 east to the next exit # 78 and you are there

Thanks Vic I've never been to that part of Arkansas. I didn't want to take the wrong road an all of a sudden start hearing banjos playing

Irregardless of what's going on with my job situation, I'm planning on attending the Caddo Valley ride. I'm probably going to need to get out of town for a while anyway.

I plan to leave around noon on Friday. See you guys there.

Due date is the 24th. But the doctor says it's anytime now.
And I gotta get Crystals's trike back together.

It doesn't take you thru the mountains, but it's worth checking out.
