@ Scott, Give me some more time to work up some enthusiasm. First, Cheryl and I will be traveling in the rv for a couple of weeks around TX. Maybe catch some fish in the coastal waters at Palacios.

I'm ready I just hope the weather is. It's hard to string 4 good day together in March and I don't want to trailer my bike there.

Well come and see us! The room is cheap and the sea food is good and cheap...you'd love it.

Good luck with that fishing trip, Bill. I'm jealous. Talking with a buddy of mine and we are giving some serious thought to salt water kayaking. I've waded for years, but would like to try something maybe a little easier on an older guy.
So, Scott, where ya want to meet up? Any other riders coming out of the Houston area?

@Paul, This will be my first salt water fishing trip. Although a bass fisherman for years, I am new to Kayak fishing. I am still getting use to my Hobie Mirage Outback Kayak.

Bill, if you get into a good pod of reds or big trout, you'll never want to go bass fishing again. I've caught big reds till I was plumb worn out, there's nothing like it.
Let me know how that kayak works out and give me your impressions about it.

I will be coming out of Dickinson. What route are you planning? Are you going 59 or catching some smaller roads. We will probably come up 2100 and hit 59 around Cleveland. Where do you suggest?

Bill, we live a few miles from the bay. I just put a new floor and tank in my bay boat. She's ready to go whenever you are.
