I received this email the other day...I thought I'd share it.

Hi Trip,
My name is Sonny Anderson, member 1362. I want to share a positive experiance that I think fits your no.3 in what is needed to join KawaNOW. On 1-22-10 about 9:30pm I noticed that another member in a joining state had done a mod on his bike that I want to do to mine. I figured if I asked to hear the results of the mod, he might have time within the next 30 days or so to let me listen to his bike. I PMed him about 9:30pm not expecting a response for a couple days. WELL, about 15min later I get a responce. I gave him my phone number and he called me within 5 min. He agreed to meet me the next morning to let me hear his bike. He rode the best part of 90mi to meet me 1/2 way and then spent more than an hour, standing in a parking lot telling me what he had learned about his bike to give me a heads up for future mods. In less than 12 hours he was on the road to give a fellow rider some info. I reckon this is a Positive Image and Doing Unto Others.
The member I am talking about is zoom45 from the Great State of Mississippi.
I did not know how to let folks know about this kindness, so I figured I'd tell you.
Thanks for your time and a great web site.
Sonny

My thanks to Bobby and Vicki for all that they do to make KawaNOW a great place to visit and be a member of.

Trip

It's always good to read notes like this one. I suppose it's just a good breed of people that ride Nomads and a great bunch that belong to this forum.

That's the kind of "Nomadradery" that I wish non-motorcycle people would realize we possess. In the general society, motorcycles are still considered "outlaws" and have a bad name. But it is people like Zoom, Sonny, and all of the KawaNow members that give us a good name. Most people don't realize that we really are good people and will lend a helping hand to almost anybody.
