2010 rides

???Have ya'll thought about any other shorter rides in 2010? Let's pick somewhere besides Arkansas. I like to see different areas although Arkansas does have some pretty scenery. Maybe Louisiana, East Texas, Tennessee (smokies), Florida or Alabama. It's rare I get to make travel plans in the summer and fall due to the military.

Bobby, There are some decent roads in Louisiana, more so in the northern part of the state. Down here where I live, if you like seeing swamp, marsh, and open water, you'd love it.

Pick a weekend, that's nice ridin country. I have changed my vacation schedule for next year. I plan on a week ride somewhere and then attend all the KawaNOW rides I can!
The week ride may be to ride to another groups rally.

Gene I would love to go with you but it is a little over 1200 miles for me where the south eastern is only 800 miles

I actuall had the Southeast Rally in mind, but after looking at the dates I don't know. It is hard to plan two weekends in a row that time of year. The two weekends back to back are hard to catch up on during early hay season. Don't count me out yet. When time gets closer I will know more, maybe I can make it happen.

Yeah, my wife would love for me to take her on a ride not so far away. Right now we're thinking about going over to northern Georgia and ride with some friends over there, up in the mountains.
