Nomad 1500 in progress

Picked this ride up a few weeks ago from an older gent. Had the stock seat with riders backrest and sissy bar on it. So far I have put santee dressers on it, syckle mirrors, tinted the front and rear turn signal lenses, and put on a saddlemen profiler seat. Ive got a heavy breather style intake, v&h baggers, power commander, barnett clutch spring, and barnett carbon fiber clutch plates sitting at the house ready to go in tomorrow. Next plans are to put street glide shocks on the back, street glide front wheel, street glide front fender, and some sort of plasma/led rod on the back support bars between the fender and the bags. Ill be sure to keep pics posted for progress.

I do have two questions, how much for the bike and how much will

I picked it up for $4300. As it sits right now (including the big three laying in the garage+clutch) ive got about $5400 into it. I plan on being done within the $6000 mark.

Oh GREAT so's mine! This means everything you do I can do, for instance the led's in between the saddlebags and fender. I've thought about that dozens of times not knowing which product or size to buy, or what their installation would entail. I would love to have the whole ass end of my bike light up when I hit the brakes, allowing me to eventually clean up the back fender with a smaller taillight and a lay-down lic plate, moving the turn signals onto the saddle bags in some cool way. <perhaps the turnsignals could be some sort of flush leds also - oooh>

Ive actually always like the rearend set up on these bikes. I sprayed my turn signal lenses witg translucent black paint and id looks pretty good imo.


Dont mind he messy garage floor had just finished up doing the clutch plates/spring/exhaust install so stuff was every where

Put a heavy breather style air cleaner so i needed something to fill the empty space on the left side. Picked up a free harley horn cover and fab'd up a bracket to mount it.

I like it that these bikes are easily purchased at a reasonable price. With a little
project and a budget you can have a great bike that has lots of life left to it. Best!
