Finally a nice day

For Colorado at the beginning of March is was a great day for a ride up the canyon. Of course I had to end the trip with a cold one

Good for you. Many weeks to go here in Ontario before we can ride.

Once the leaves come out and the grass greens up, it'll look a lot better, but not too bad. Checked the weather and looks like we actually hit 70 today - of course it's short lived this time year, snow in the forecast for Tues. Oh well, it'll be 90 before you know it.

Which canyon was that, Big Thompson? Just guessing from the picture of the Budweiser brewery in Fort Collins. When did they open the canyon back up after the flood damage?

That is the Cache la Poudre canyon, but late last year they had Big Thompson open - single lane in quite a few spots and Estes is still having water treatment issues the way I hear - but you can get there is the main thing.

I'm lucky, between the Poudre, Big Thompson and Rist Canyons I got more twisties to ride than you can shake a stick at and plenty of little mountain bars to "refuel" at. Can't wait to ride them all this summer.

Yep that's the Bud plant outside Fort Collins. I stop in and get my Holiday Stein every year. It's just a few miles from the house. Nice parking lot for figure 8's!
