New tire today
Well, I finally was able to put my new front tire on today (Dunlop D404). Took the better part of the day, between stopping to help my wife rearrange her office, but finally got it done. Hope to take it out tomorrow and see how it works.
I had to do the entire thing by myself, with pry bars. Went OK, though, got it off and the new one back on reasonably well. God was good to me; didn't poke my eye out or anything, and got the new tire mounted. I am grateful. I hoped to do some more maintenance today, but will have to wait.

New tire today
I like the D404. I think it's a good looking front tire. Doesn't seem to get the mileage other tires I've used, but that may just be me.

Glad you were able to get the tire mounted and back on. What did you do about balancing? Did you use Dyna Beads or weights?

New tire today
Coincidentally, I just ordered myself a D404 from Dennis Kirk yesterday. I decided to give one a try.

New tire today
I just installed two D404's on my 2001 Nomad. I am very pleased with the tires at this time. They handled the twisties with ease.

New tire today
I installed D404's on my bike last season, and they seem to be wearing well and ride good. They are also available in whitewalls. And at the time they where one of the better priced tires as well.

New tire today
I did notice that the D404 seemed to look narrower than the stock Bridgestone I took off. But it is the exact same size tire. Anyone else's eyes playing tricks on them?
