Accident at Antlers Rally

It is with great sadness that I type this.
There was an accident on Thursdays ride.
We were riding Talimena Drive in eastern Oklahoma.
Verne "old dog" Arnesen was killed when he unable to negotiate a series of sharp turns.
His bike left the roadway and he struck a tree.

We were riding in two groups and Verne was in the rear of the first group
I won't speculate on the exact cause. It was an awful accident.
I don't have much to add at this point.

Crystal and I will keep Verne and his family in our prayers.
We all send our deepest condolences to his wife, children, family and friends.
