Don't have them on mine but I have heard nothing but good things about them. Pricey, but I'm thinking they will be in my future.

No, the OEM shocks are pricey...$500 EACH! Progressives are a lot less expensive.

I have used http://www.powersportsuperstore.com for quite a few things and their pricing on Progressive suspension seems to be pretty good, and shipping to Canada was better than a lot of places.

I'll vouch for Powersport Superstore as well. I have purchased a number of items from them. Prices and service are hard to beat.

I've had mine for a couple of years. I highly recommend them over the stock air shocks. No bottoming out when riding two up, hitting speed bumps, etc....set them and ride. I think I paid real close to $400 for the pair. Can't remember where I purchased them. The installation was easy, even for me!!!

Don't know how bad your back is but another, and more popular, solution might be to consider a new seat with a backrest.

No doubt good shocks may help with a bad back, but what is the problem more directly?

Recently I installed a one air fitting to feed both rear shocks, and set it at 10 psi. Both rear shocks get the same exact air this way.

At damper setting II I get a recoil bounce I don't like, which I found out yesterday off road riding up a remote back road loaded with rock.

A very long time ago I made a wide leather belt with 2 buckels, which I wear most of the time these days, doing just about anything, so I made it for looks in part.

I can wear it onver a tee shirt, or ver any shirts I may wear.

This belt was made to carry a back pack for my 18th century trecking hobby, but it doubles as a riding belt all the time.

At this point it has a pateina.

Last fall in the local Army Navy store in Conway I bought another wider belt with 3 buckels, for about 10 dollars, made in what was west germany in the cold war, but it is old new stock (old but never used)

A few weeks after that I took a buddy there who bought the last one, but the store said they were going to get more. I can go look next time I go up that way if you like.

This commie belt is made to fit people with no less than a 32 inch waist, and no bigger than 38 inch.

The one problem I seem to have with it is the lower edge gets caught inside my jeans waist band just a little with my regular moving around, bending and standing, which is a mild neusiance.

This commie belt is made for riding however. I might even have a few pics on line, but I am not certain. I'll look and see....

Over the winter I lowered my Nomad 2", because I'm so short legged. I went with
progressive 440's, because I'm useally riding two up. I ordered mine from scootworks.
the cost was very reasonable.

I could not imagine lowering the Nomad. I scrape all the time in turns. I only have 10,000 miles on the bike and have just bought replacement scrape pads.

I've only scraped the foot rest once so far. when I tried to
reach the ground before I could on touch my tippy toes.
Riding was no problem by myself, but two up with the foot
rest out was another story. If the bike rolled a little it would knock
your feet out!!
