I don't want to open up a raging discussion about torque specs and their importance, or what tools to use or not use.
What I've always done is this. With the electric impact from Harbor Freight, I put as much torque as the gun is capable of. That's it. I have never had an issue doing this. Use a lot of grease to hold the limiter springs together, it's just going to melt into the oil. I'm not advocating my method, just sharing it. Decide for yourself, and procede at your own risk. MT
