I use a Ram Mount. Steady and fully adjustable. Not the cheapest route but the most dependable IMO.

For me, it was only $25 for the Ram Mount. Cheap in my books

I ordered my mount from e-bay. It was a cheap mount for the Tom-Tom. It works very well and is mounted low next to the risers. It works good. No problems.

I've used the same Ram mount for 4 years. I got lucky. The same mount holds my Sunpass. That's a toll pass in case you didn't know. I think that's a pretty good return on investment.

You dont want to cheap out on this, go for the RAM. I mount a GPS and have a camera mount on my bike. Used them for years on my fire trucks also for mounting MDTs, etc. Very rugged.

What everyone else says, I use ram mounts for both the boat and the bike, never had a gps, camera or anything come loose yet, and when you want to take it off for security, less than a minute. Or you can get the locking mount like I have.

Generally, RAM makes relatively inexpensive mounts to mount a wide range of stuff to bike bars. That's why so many people use them. What kind of gps you trying to mount?

I also decided to go with Ram. Ordered it last night. I am hoping to mount it down low, center, on the 4" arm. It should be here in a couple of days.

I went with one of these - Under 15 Bucks and works great - I leave the mount on between the risers and snap the GPS in place when I need it . . . Simple and inexpensive . . .
