But going back into Canada at Stewart there is a customs entry, just like from the lower 48 into Canada and Canada into the lower 48. You'll have to get gas in Stewart and if you plan on leaving early it may be better to gas up before going into Hyder. Also, I needed a tire mid-trip so had one shipped to Prince George Yamaha going up, it was waiting coming back. Timing was perfect and the folks at PG Yamaha got me in and out quickly. Take a bunch of pics and watch for the bears!
Hyder Trip
Just barely put a brand new rear tire on and the front has plenty of life left. But if something happens and we need something, I'll keep them in mind.

That sounds like a great trip Jared, Alaska is a spot I'd like to visit one day. Its too bad you won't be able to spend more time there. I rode through the Rockies years ago on the way to BC, we got held up in Golden after a rock slide covered the highway, and we had to wait for some heavy equipment to come and clear the road. We were on our way within 3-4 hours.
Ride safe and have a great time.

My part of the world in Canada Jared. Enjoy the the trip and views. Your likely to hit some heavy traffic riding up through the Rockies. It's well worth it. I'm headed down to Nakusp today :):). Stayin in Golden tonite. Got to go to Hyder myself one day. Looking forward to the pics you post. Ride safe Jared.

Two of my friends are returning to Connecticut from there today - they have been on the road since June 30 . . . They both now have 49 states . . . Next year I will be riding to complete the lower 48 and I will have 49 states as well. If you are heading deep into the Land of the Midnight Sun, let me know - Having spent some time up there and ridden a few thousand miles in the State, I can provide a few pointers . . .

Good Luck and ENJOY!!

Here is the track from my friends for the last 30 days . . .

Sounds like a great trip. Have fun and be safe. I happen to be in Hyder, Arizona right now. Not quite as cool here as the Hyder you'll be passing through. Enjoy!
