Ride one and get back to me. A friend of mine traded his cross country tour for a gtl and he rides a lot of two up. He says the gtl blows away the cct in every way except his wife had more room kn the Vic but she's a little Asian woman and says its livable, much better than the c14 with a day long he had before the Vic.

That's it Dave! That is exactly how you sounded when all you had was a nomad to ride.

I have a throttle lock...Who needs a cruise control?
Who needs that much power? Why do I need to go faster in the turns?
ABS.. Who needs to stop that quick?
A seat warmer and warm grips are for sissys.
GPS... don't get me started. I have maps!

Who needs all of that magic stuff?

Congratulations! you have come full circle and back to your basic roots.

Good response Cliff. These old timers (Brad & Montana Dave) seem to have short memories.

Or maybe they just can't accept they don't have the latest and greatest or maybe they can't afford it ...hahahaha.

Yep. Some people deserve to have their toys...

And some people deserve to have even better toys!

I think it is time to start talking about the day rides in Red Lodge.

I figure we have 4 days for Day Rides. Arrive on Sunday,
Monday a short day ride.
Tue. Long ride
Wed. Long ride
Thur. Short ride

I already have my rides that I want to do. I just haven't picked which day I will ride them.

No, haven't really thought much of it yet. I would like to head over to the bighorns one day and to Cody on another.

Truth be known though, the CCT would be on my short list if I was buying another bike.

Brad you could correct that.
I think that your CCT still has a high trade in value. You could skip what would be your next "Goldwing" phase and go straight to the Top of the Line and get a GTL.

Get one and we could rule the rallies as Kings! ...Until something better comes along.

It is a good looking bike. It has good power, handling is very nice and the best part is that is cheap in cost.

Compared to 30K for a Gold Wing, GTL or Roadmaster.

23K to me was not real cheap in cost.
