Mike, I have met you in person and you are nothing like the person on line.
Is Sue posting on here in your name

Naw, I forbade her to post, cause when that crazy bstrd gits a snoot full of the giggle juice she wants to post pics such as the one above.

Her Bookface page is slam full of nonsense like that. That and slim tanned and toned women on women with their naked breast pressed together, their long silky legs intertwined in a deep passionate kiss.
eeww!

The damn drunken booze hag lush that she is. I cain't let her post nowhere

I try to maintain a unassuming, low key, mild mannered gent persona on the board so as to not rile feathers on the chickens and ducks round here, and keep the grabassin' at bay.

Wasamatter? Too quiet here and too witty at the rally?

Whereas I can order it myself online in many cases, and it arrives at my door almost always cheaper.
Becoming a more and more familiar story. They want to avoid getting stuck with stale inventory and do it at the cost of customer service, forcing customers to wait for most things, even items as simple as nuts, bolts, and washers. Add to that the fact that many stock persons are unfamiliar with products as well as higher prices and you have a recipe sure to drive locals to shop online...

Scott hit the nail on the head. It's about the instant gratification. Having the product now, not later. That's a reason to buy local. In a lot of cases it's worth the extra money required.
