Now this started out as a serious thread and you guys have turned it into a comic book. Just my thought.

Hey, only kidding. Everyone should lighten up. If you happen to open a thread and it turns out to be a joke get out of it.

I have to say that I have learned a lot of valuable information here. It has helped me in many ways. It has also caused me to chuckle and even laugh on occasion.

I do agree that if a thread is started as a serious thread then jokes should be placed elsewhere and not in that thread. If a person is trying to find a solution to a problem then don't come in with a post with another problem not related to the original problem. Post a separate thread for a non-related problem. Once again, just my thoughts.

I'm here for the party.

There is a lot of repitition here as CJ said about the same questions being asked and answered over and over. I guess most guys don't bother reading Gadgets Fixit site first, it has most of the answers right there. Overall still a great forum compared to most of the others, although not quite as good as when we had the karma....

If anyone remembers, I made quite a rant about this eight or ten months ago. That button has made the entire forum a wide open one. No longer do we go to our regional boards, because it is too easy to hit the recent topic button. Everything that gets posted goes to the top...jokes included....so yeah....this board changed HUGE when that button became available. If you post something in your regional board...everyone on the forum responds, instead of mostly your regional members. Personally speaking, it is a double-edged sword that amounts to death by a million paper cuts....JMHO.... :-/.

I never use the regional boards. I do use newest topics though. Believe it or not my time is limited and I don't have time to go through every board when I only need to see what is current. I live in the now not the past so it helps me tremendously.

I do appreciate good jokes as laughter is the best medicine. It must work as I hardly ever have to visit with a doctor.
