With the price of gas I can see that it will probably sell. Excellent car for a lot of in town driving.

My aunt in England had a similar 3 wheeler car, except the front opened up to get in.

Norm, that was probably a BMW, with the front opening up. A man had one
in my home town while I was growing up.

Yes I think that may have been it, I remember the steering wheel swinging out of the way when the door opened. she drove it for years too, I know she still had it in the 90's

Go and get it, those little cars were only sent over in small numbers, making them fairly rare.

Well She is gone now and so is the car Gerry. She had and drove that thing most of my childhood, it always seemed to show up every once and a while in pics she would send my mother.
My mother went for a visit to England some time in the 90's and when she came back she said you won't believe this but Aunt Doris still drives that little car of hers. I wonder where they were getting parts for it all those years?

they were called iseta's
my dad sold them for awhile
He found two of them later and restored them both one was a 300 with the one door and the other was a 600 with a rear door and back seat they both came with motorcycle engines 300 was a single and the 600 was a boxer. they had 4 wheels but the rears were about 3" apart. Urkal had a 300

I remember the Isettas, my favorite though was the Messerschmit. I still see a couple at car shows time to time.

After my dad sold his dealership
he restored bikes and cars. He always liked the mini cars. over the years he did a Vespa with a two stroke engine, a Nash Metropolitan, Crosly pickup. He also restored Cushman Scooters. He did at least 200 of them over the years.
The only thing left is a 1916 Overland car

Really cool stuff, guys.

This is the only Messerschmit, I've seen in person.

One of my high school teachers had an Isetta. Cute little thing. One day he went to go home and couldn't find it in the teachers parking area. Police were called. They finally found it up on the stage in the gymnasium. No idea who the culprits were. No one talked. I had nothing to do with it. No, really...I was innocent. Sure was funny, at least to some of us!
