Wish i had read this before i sent Mr shellenger a few quid for some of his wonderfull washers.Oh well they will come in handy somewhen i reckon.

More often than not it's the spring that is shot.

There have been a few cases of the return hole being plugged.

If you have carb picks or something small, I use a guitar string, just push it into the hole.

It won't go very far with the piston still in the master cylinder.

Generally when the return is plugged the clutch won't release at all, or it will release very slowly.

It you're slipping when you roll on the throttle, especially in the higher gears, 99% of the time it's going to be spring related.

Mick, if you use the Judge's washers, odds are good that you will never need another spring.
