....I've got some swirls in the clear coat on my hard bags which I would like to remove this winter after riding season. There is nothing that is actually through the clear and into the paint. What products would be recommended?

Thanks

Mequiars "Hand Polish" or 3m "Finesse". Either are fine products and will do the job nicely.

Here our family uses Mcguiars Scratch X on all the cars and bikes. when my son and I debadged my truck and his car, it was great for removing the ghosting left after badge removal.

I'll put in a plug for the Meguiars. I had a swirl on my saddlebag, and it came right out with that stuff.

I asked the same question last year, and someone here recomended sprinkling corn starch on the hazed wax before you buff. I tried it and it works. Its not a permanent solution but does remove swirlmarks for a time before needing to be redone.

LMAO First good laugh of the day.

I use Mothers scratch remover on my bike. Works well, but I haven't tried other products to compare.

Any one ever try the mother, ball and paint, I believe that what its called. I saw it in a mag add. Its a can of wax or some compound with a big yellow ball, that fit a drill. It supposed to be good for buffing clear coats. Just wondering how it works.
