2015 Vaquero oxygen sensor Cobra Tri-oval exhaust

I just purchased a new 2105 Vaquero and got a set of Cobra Tri-Ovals for it.

Found out that the 2015's have a O2 sensor on the right side muffler not the exhaust header.

I called Cobra and they stated that they just received a 2015 unit last month and are working on a new right side slip-on with the sensor bung already installed but it will not be ready for a few months.

My question is, has anyone added slip-ons to the voyager or vaquero that required either a oxygen sensor eliminator or have to add a new sensor for the new exhaust.

Which did you do (eliminator or new bung) and what was the result either good or bad.

You must have gotten a California model. As far as I know the Vaq, Voyager and Nomad do not come with O2 sensors.

Have Cobra "make it right" and swap out your right side muffler with the bung. Only other option is to have somebody TIG one in for you and that would suck to hack on a new exhaust system. The 2015 models do show that they have an o2 sensor in that right muffler.

Cobra tri ovals

Cobra is due to release them for a 2015 Vaquero in about 4 weeks as per my last conversation with them. I am planning on getting them also. Are you getting a fuel tuner? If so what kind? thanks

Will they also fit the 2015 Voyager?

I live in California and need to get a legal set up as the dealer says we are looking at yearly inspections soon.

If that is true I will keep mine legal while adding the slip on mufflers and anything else.

Try this link http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dynojet-Powe...item541038715f or eBay item number:
361049387359 .... I put the ones(Cobra Tri Ovals) that were on my 2011 Vaquero for a short time on my 2015 Green Vaquero, Cali. bike. Installed the Dyno Jet O2 sensor eliminator, or Fuel Optimizer, with the Cobra Fi2000R for the 49 state bikes. They are different for Cali. And just recently a K&N Air filter. 800 miles bike runs great, but I do have Decel popping. Installed the Thunder Mfg. throttle body gasket and that made NO difference whatsoever. Still trying different settings on the Cobra Fuel processor so we'll see. Hope this helps!

bikenut51, I just installed the Cobra slip ons on my 15 Vaquero. I am getting error code 67, which is the O2 sensor error. My Cobra's, of course, do not have the bung for the O2 sensor connection. Would the Dynojet optimizer clear the error?

No your going to have to get the 02 sensor back on there. Either add a bung or see if someone has an 02 eliminator kit for the 15 models yet.

The Dynojet o2 eliminator that comes with the PCV does not work right. I have a 2015 Vaq also. Dynojet is working on a fix for this problem right now. The bike runs like crap with the o2 eliminator/optimizer. I still have my stock exhaust and I am running my PCV with o2 sensor plugged up until they get it worked out. I am going to keep checking back on this.
Also Cobra is about to release their slip ons soon for the 15's. I called them yesterday and a tech guy told me they have the part numbers and to keep checking their website.

My bike runs great without the o2 sensor connection but I dont want to mess my bike up. The F1 error takes up my entire digital screen. I'm not drilling on my new pipes. Guess I'll wait on Dynojet to come up with an o2 eliminator.

I had the dealer install V & H slip-ons prior to picking up my new 2015. Did not even realize that it had a O2 sensor until last week. The slip-ons came ready to install. No cutting needed. I contacted Dobeck to see if they had a EJK for the 2015s. They do not yet have one for the 2015 Voyager. Still waiting to hear back from them. I have not seen too much info on here regarding O2 sensors on our bikes. By the way really like my V & H pipes.
