Nomad "Dark Side" car tire

I'd probably stay away from a car front tire.

Did anyone notice that Nico just admitted that his isn't big enough. [/quote]

That's why Sue's not commenting. She's crying her eyes out because he's too damn tiny!

If you switched rear wheels with one of the wider rims from a newer nomad you could use a car tire providing it bolts on the same as the old ones. Ive seen them on Ebay time to time quite reasonable pricing.

I would not also put a car tire on the front wheel but was wondering if it would make a difference as to what kind of MC tire the front should or could be. Radial or belted? Can you even buy a belted front tire?

The only 150/80x16 front tire Metzler makes for my bike is a belted tire.
The 180/70x16 Rear is radial. I read on here it is OK to mix them so that is what I plan to do this year when the stock tires wearout.

Still looking and corresponding with those that are running them right now. No problems so far. I've found a few 195/65/16 that are a little taller than the stock 170//70/16 and fit easier than the 205's width wise.
