Denis, you might want to try something beside stock tires. The Bridgestones really are not that great IMO.

Try Bourret Moto sport, in Terrebonne. 450-971-1918, I got great prices but they installed. It's a service place, but when I bought tires the last time, installed and all was cheaper than Moto International at the bike show before installation. I have Dunlop 404 front and back

Similar numbers in terms of mileage with the stones. I can't tell you for the Avon Cobras that I am running now, but from others I expect at least the same or better mileage out of them.
My real reason for changing was the performance. The bike falls into the corners with less counter steer and the parking lot speed maneuverability is quite is way better than the stones.

I checked 5 different places in the ottawa area and this place beat everyone by $150 for the two tires I wanted and the best part, he will not hassel you if you buy your tires somewhere else.

Sirius Motorsports in Cambridge Ontario had a good price on the Michelin Commanders II's I bought. Maybe they can get you a good price on Avon Cobras ?
