air pressure settings rear shocks
Good rule of thumb is 10 lbs of air per 1 setting on the rebound. Example 30 lbs and number lll on the rebound. All depends on how fat you are and how much your hauling. :-)

Hey I resemble that remark! I run 37lbs at III when 2 up with gear. I figure 550 lb load.

When I bought my '04 Nomad in June, it rode like a buckboard. I finally bought a zero loss pump and found out why. It had 42# on both sides and was set to 4. I'm now down to 12# and 2 and it rides much better. I'm 220# and ride alone.

I'm running 30# (measured with bike on the ground) at 3 on rebound damping. Most of my riding is 2 up with a total weight of about 380. Firm but not harsh.

With a car tire I can run 25lbs on the 2nd click and it's still a really soft ride. I'm 235lbs..

I ride mostly solo. I'm 225lbs and use 25psi on setting #1. I use setting #2 with a passenger (and no additional luggage).
