Oil Leak

Hello every one,

I was out for a ride this morning and the nomad was running great, got it home from the ride and all was well. then about three hours later got back on and went to meet a friend for a ride. stopped off to get gas and there was oil leaking out of the left crank case cover. not a lot but enough to worry me, called it a day and got it home. Any ideas what it might be?

Thank you for the help!
John

i wonder how this ever worked out?

Anyway I need the stinking part number for that seal and can't find the right diagram break down for it. Is it the left side case? The clutch master, or the clutch diagram?

That blasted number has to be here somewhere. It ain't my bike leakin' either and that bike is a mite far to see from where i sit, 200 miles anyway..

I think i can fix it with a glue and a clean old seal but it might be best to have a new seal here... if not a slave kit.

readin back on this thread had me in giggles. poor SOB..

Can you please confirm this part number?

92049B
Seal Oil,Tc13225.5
92049-1519 $8.66

And thanks as I was going mad..... I don't do well hunting parts on line that should have multiple listings. IMO this seal should be listed with left side case, clutch, clutch master, bevel gear case, and slave cly..... Thank you..

Nope I can't confirm it totally but that link actually comes form an old thread that i found here on the board. I beleive it was one from cactusjack if I can remember it right. But you all know what happens when we get older it's that CRS disease that takes over.
