ok people who all plans on riding as a group to national i know some peeps want to get there a day early me being one of them i kind of like the idea gibby put out about meeting in lincoln nebraska and going in the next day lets hear what you all thinking on this and we will see about getting a plan together later ray

I think that meeting at the Super 8 Lincoln West on June 22 and staying overnight is a good plan. That leaves us about a 500 mile ride on Sunday to Estes Park. That way we have all day Monday to ride before the Rally really gets into full swing. Time to start getting plans in place.

Planning on leaving on the Friday before and making my 4 day ride to arrive on Monday (from Hamilton Ontario). Not sure of the hotels or how far I will get each day. Should be hooking up with the Eastern Canada folks but nothing in stone yet.

Hey Ray,

I am planning on going as of right now. Meeting in Lincoln sounds good to me. I would like to meet up with the northern Illinois group for the ride out to Lincoln. I assume we would head out early Sat morning?

I haven't wrapped-up all of my plans as of yet. Still working on one major detail, that is a sticking-point.

I had intended to trailer my bike out to CO due to my back issues still plaguing me. I didn't want to rack-it-out on a ride out there and find I am limited on riding once there. (Wish it were a different circumstance I was dealing with, but unfortunately for me, it has become a reality setting-in. Going on three years now with major issues and quite a bit of surgical procedures to get only moderate relief.)

Since I was intending to pull the trailer, I had targeted a distance further than Lincoln. Then I would have had a much shorter-day on Sunday.

However, I am trying to iron-out the change to stay in Lincoln. Hopefully, I will have that answered by this week yet. Hopefully then we can catch-up for the ride into Estes...

It will be me, Denny, Sally and possibly Cal and his wife heading to Lincoln on Saturday. We should have quite a large NCR contingent for the ride to Estes Park.

I'm keeping it on my calendar but will be riding solo. I mentioned that Deb and I were planning a trip to Oregon - we are doing that in May, so Deb isn't wanting to take both trips. -C

All depends on my work schedule, but I'm 3 hours north of Lincoln and am really hoping to make it to the rally this year...
