May I ask, why? I've got nothing against liquid cooled bikes as I've owned quite a few of them (as well as air/air & oil cooled) but the big V twins from Indian and Victory are smooth and relatively cool running.

The Road King that I ride is Not liquid cooled. The heat that radiates from the engine on a hot summer day is too much for me.

Again, try a Victory or an Indian. Victory, Indian and Harley are NOT the same bikes with the same technology. Or don't. I'm not selling any of them so I don't make any money no matter what you ride.

I was looking for someone to loan me a bike. I already KNOW what the difference is and how a Victory (which I owned) and a Spirit Lake Indian (which I've ridden many of) feel. Yes, I AM the man for the job. :)

The Victory and Indian engines are great engines power wise as is the new M8 Harley. I will say this, the Indian will cook you. It is one of the major complaints unless you do pipes and remove the catalytic converter. The Victory is hot as well as I know someone who blistered his leg when running thru 110 degree heat.

Depends upon where you like your legs positioned. I need them out in front of me. I can't have them bent slightly backwards like the Goldwing. I always thought the Goldwing was a fantastic bike for power but the leg positioning doesn't work for me.

I find that highway pegs can help to place the legs forward. It did take a while to get use to the feet being on pegs instead of floorboards.
