Factory air cleaners?

Hi guys. Thinking about putting factory air cleaners back on my 02 Classic. Prior owner took them off and put on a k&n on right side only. I don't have any of the original stuff for left side. So my question is what yes are interchangeable?

Is the crossover tube still in place? That will be the biggest hurdle as most are cut in half to get them out.

And to put the crossover tube back in, you will have to remove the throttle body and intake manifold, set your tube in, then re-install the previously mentioned parts.

Curious why you want the stock filter assembly?

I have to take out the throttle body anyways because seals are leaking. I actually like the complete look with both covers on. I read somewhere there is a Thunder air kit that goes inside the factory covers.

The halfway to thunder set-up used their throttle body adapter and 1 of the dog bowls.

It DID NOT fit inside the stock set-up.

The crossover tube had to be removed, as did all of the smog crap.

Talk to Joe www.chucksterscustoms.com and get one of his set-ups for using 1 dog bowl.

That is the intake I have. If you wanted too, you could make it look stock, just have an empty dog bowl on the left, and keep the performance gains of a BAK.
