2006 Nomad, 34k miles, $3000 obo

2006 Kawasaki Nomad located in Jane Lew, WV, 26378

34k miles

$3000 obo

I bought this in February 2013 with about 9500 miles on it. I picked up another bike earlier this year and have not ridden this like I thought I would. Hence, here it is for sale.

Only known issues are the fenders. There is some rust bubbling on the rear, and rust on the front.
The new:
New battery August 2016; new Michelin Commander II tires November 2016 with about 3k miles on them. New Clearview windshield with vent and recurve in December 2016 (stock included).

Stock pipes and intake (K&N air filter).

Mustang seat with driver's backrest. Stock seat also included. It is currently set up with solo seat and rear fender rack. Also have the stock backrest/sissy bar and luggage rack.
Advmonster LED headlight bulb and Jay Stephens LED brake light.
Airlite crashbar chaps/soft lowers.

I'm open to offers and would really like to see this go to someone who is going to wear out this set of Commander IIs. Pm me for any more info, email, and/or phone number.

Safe riding,
James

You should be asking for more money ($4585). But it's yours, good luck with the sale.

Thanks, I think it is worth more than I'm asking, but I've been sitting on it since June thinking I'd ride it more, and I haven't. I'd be happy to see someone else getting some enjoyment out of it.
Funny story: I took it out last evening for a short ride. Check tires, lights, and head out. About ten miles from home I'm thinking that I forgot my insurance and registration at home. Then I remember that I also forgot to put the new license plate on it as well.
Oops.

Yeah, I have a 2008 with lots of extras that high books for $6300 and I can't even get $4000 for it. Been to bike nights, put it on craigs list and cycle trader, not even an offer. Oh well, store it for another year and lower the price again next year. Won't be long I will be giving it away just to free up some room in the garage.

Selling

The market is funny, I just sold my 2001 Nomad, I ended up lowering the price twice, had 5 or 6 people who said they were interested, but they wanted it for next to nothing. I kept this bike like it was my firstborn, didnt matter. All they looked at was the 60K on the odometer. I ride my bikes, I dont leave them sit in the garage. Then this guy comes and buys it and tells me afterwards that I was to cheap! Wait till spring. I got $3,600. But the miles and places I saw were priceless..

How about a price reduction to $3200 before winter hits.

Problem is most bikers don't know what a Nomad is.
