Back in the Saddle in a New Location (Fort Benning, GA)

While I am not a new member, I wanted to let everyone know that I returned from a deployment to Afghanistan about six months ago. And, I just learned that I will be moving to Fort Benning (Columbus), GA for my next duty station. So, if anyone has any advice/information about the area, please share.

Welcome back and welcome to GA. I'm in Roswell, quite a bit north of you. Columbus isn't a bad place at all. Quick drive down to Eufaula AL and a big lake there, great fishing and camping in the area. You are just a few hours from Panama City Beach FL. The Redneck Riviera. They have a twice a year bike rally called Thunder Beach. Its worth seeing. We go pretty much every one if we can.
