Confirm tire pressure

I've been reading a lot of the threads and have been trying to find out exactly what my tire pressure should be . I've been searching online and looking at charts also . Question : Is it save to say that I should be at 41psi for both front and back when two up riding ?
Front : Dunlop 130/90-16 cruismax
Rear : Dunlop 150/80-16 cruismax

With the proper psi the bike will handle better and tires wear better
Ride safe

I did check them before filling . Front 34 , Back 36 . I guess not that bad but I'd rather be dead on .

I can't access the owners manual for the 2001 nomad on the kawasaki sight right now, but the manual for the 2000 nomad states tire pressure should be front - 32 psi rear- 40 psi

Thanks Oldschool , I've been seeing a lot of different specs online . I'm wondering if that's for the factory tires . I'm going to the place I had the tires put on today and get them to check into it for me. I may even call Dunlop just to be 100% certain .
Appreciate your input , ride safe my friend

Sometimes it depends on the tire, and those specs were for the tires it came with. Having said that, I found what Kawa recommended for the front to be low, I run pretty much the same for my Cobras as the original Bridgestones. 40 front, 42 rear.

Thanks Norm , I think I'll just keep it at 40 psi for both . The tires are stamped with 41psi front and back with maximum Lb shown . Seems to make sense . I'm going to look at mini apes at the same place I got the tires so I'll ask to be sure .

Kawi recommended tire pressures are for bias-ply OE tires, not radial tires like Avon Cobra. Tire pressure on bias-ply tires is critical to ensure proper contact patch and minimize overheating. Over-inflate or under-inflate a bias ply tire and you'll overheat the carcass which kills how long the tire will last and dramatically changes the way it handles. Radial tires are not as "sensitive" to varying pressures so technically you can run higher/or lower pressures depending on load and air temps.

With that said, I use the OE tire pressure as a starting point on my radial Cobras and adjust up/down according to air temp and load.
