2012 Brand New VN1700 Vaquero for SALE!!!!

Hi my name is Elizabeth and I am a sales rep at King Cycles located at 657 Utica Ave, Brooklyn, NY, 11203. I wanted to let you all know that I have a 2012 Kawasaki Vaquero VN1700 for a sweet deal. The MSRP of the Vaquero is $17,199 and I am having a sale on it for only $12,900. I am making space for new inventory and trying to get rid of all our left overs. If you or anyone is in the market for this model please let me know. Also I forgot to mention that this Vaquero is in Lime Green. I bought my new 2013 for 14995.00 in Jan. 2013. Seems like you could do better.

NOS is getting harder to find. The newer 2013's only work if you want Flat Black (I did not). If you want a new bike, and color, your either looking for a new 2012, or paying full price for a new 2014 orange. Finding a new blue or green or especially red, is getting harder. I payed $14,700 OTD for my New 2012 Vaquero in October last year.

I think we need a mod to toss this into the classifieds or somewhere else even further out of the way... or we're just going to see a whole lot more of these - sales pitches from new members joining for no other reason?

Because it's generally frowned upon here for someone to join just for the purpose of selling.

I don't know, it's not up to me. I was just offering a possible reason for the negativity regarding the bike posted for sale.

I know people who have joined up and their first post was advertising something for sale have gotten beat up pretty good in the past, which I think is how it should be. There's always Craigslist for selling things if you don't want to participate in the forum community. Just my personal opinion folks, don't get your shorts in a wad.

Agreed! Let them go thru Jared and become a sponsored or approved vendor. After that sale, is there anything further to come from the new member/vendor? Discounted products, free shipping, technical advice?

TC has a point but I have seen some pretty quick responses (boots) to vendors or sales pitches here.

Personally, I would prefer not to have the "topics" sections of the forum cluttered with sales adds from dealerships and/or 1 posters. Classified, fair game I guess, but would be hard to control. Next, it would be advertisements as on another forum I'm a member on.....you can't hardly see member's photo postings for the pop up adds on the bottom of each pic.

as for 12,900, I was offered that same price last spring for a new 2012 Green.
