So change it. The windshields for the older FL fairings are plentiful (and cheap). It's the fairing itself that's difficult to find. You can try Cee Baileys, Clearview, Madstad, Harley, or make your own. Remove the one on there now and trace the pattern (adding or subtracting any height you want) onto a similar piece of Lexan/plexiglass. Tape it up, cut it out with a jigsaw then tint it in whatever shade or color you want. Easy-peasy.

Cee Baileys makes some very nice windshields. Not a bad price, either.

This is the one I run on my bike with the Reckless fairing http://www.fastaire.com/Aero.html
But it is a 3 hole style do not know if they make one for the 5 hole

I have a very nice 06 Nomad, green and silver, with about 20k miles on it. Well kept and in very good condition. I am asking $6,500. Located in Central Texas.
