This was my reply the first time you listed Crabby. You asked what your bike was likely worth, and then asked $11K for it. I know the market stinks right now, but if you can hold on until spring you'll likely be ablr to get a much better price.

What JasperBoy said is correct. Hold out until Spring. Cabby on the forum is selling his '99 and is the market for an '08 or '10 model. Don't know if he already has a couple of bikes in mind or not. Maybe he will see your ad and contant you.

Actually I am in the market but not til late January (TSP Loan repayment). I just sold my '99 for a whooping $4500.00 and I am actively looking for a newer horse.

Just a suggestion, but you should edit your subject line. "Back up for sale" doesn't convey the message that you are trying to sell a motorcycle. It could be easily skipped over by a potential buyer.

I haven't forgotten about you Crabby but I think I just might hold out for a 1700 Nomad. I found one in Ft Worth, $750 Down to hold it for 60 days...$12,500 out the door. 2010 Nomad with 789 miles.
