Have you listed the bike for sale anywhere else? You might try the Delphi Vulcan Forum. Here, you are trying to sell a Nomad to people who already own them. On the Delphi forum, you might find people who own a classic or 900 and are looking to trade up to a Nomad. How about Craigslist? Cycle Trader?
Craigslist, volusiariders forum, Star motorcycle forums, powersportsnetwork, local classifieds. I will put it on delphi thanks. I'm sure it'll go just impatient if you know what I mean. I made the mstake of going & riding an ultra & now I can't wait till I get one PLUS I have a trip coming up the end of June would really like to have the new bike before then.

I can't imagine why. The Ultra is a great ride glwilson and is remarkably adaptable to riders. I have the Ultra Tour Pak on the back of the Nomad. It's a back beat Ultra Nomad.

Just for grins try taking the seat off and sit on the frame for a ride around the block. See if the frame height works for ya. If it does it gives you an idea if you can adjust a seat down to your size. Of course the less padding the more uncomfortable the seat. The Mustang does sit lower and more forward than stock but not by much. Just my 2 cents.

Sounds like your heart is really hanker'in for a different bike, that's cool, I go through periods of wanting to check out different bikes. But if you did want to keep building a relationship with your Nomad, I would try a Corbin seat (gee, like mine). It took me awhile to get used to mine, but now I like they that I'm low into the saddle w/ 4x1 pull-back risers. Corbin's are stiff, where as Mustangs tend to lean towards more padding. I tried to modify my stock seat, but due to the molded plastic pan, there is only so much you can do with them.

Thanks Deliv, I have spent enough cas & time trying to get this bike to fit me...I went & played on a ton of diferent bikes and while the Ultra/Electra is what I really wat I think I'm going to a v-star. I loved the last one I had & probably should have never got rid of it. It took a while to figure out what I wanted, and the Nomad is a sweet ride, but it's just not for me.
