That's before old school. At least upgrade to a blackhawk.

1875 Remington 45LC or Blackhawk are both single action.
Pretty slow for a defensive weapon.
Of course like Sam said, if the other guy is out of ammo you don't need to be to fast

The blackhawk can carry 6 rounds safely and shoot any 45LC ammo made. If you get the convertible, it'll shoot 45 ACP too.

I owned 3: A Blackhawk in 45LC, a Blackhawk in 41 mag and a 2.75" security six in 357. All well made. The one pistol I wish I still had was a 4" Python.

Nice video, I watched Bob Munden on one of the gun shows on TV each week.
He had a segment called Impossible shots. The guy could shoot

At this point I carry for realistic Grizzly Bear..(while in my sleeping bag)- protection...

All the rest of the time I'm just hiding behind my hog-leg !...I assume who ever is quick & determined.....will have my pistol as a souvenir !

...But.....There Was A Time....

Pistol goes in the VM2 holster and rifles go in the saddlebags.
