I heard one of the radio talk money investment guys say that if it ever comes down to and emergency situation where the dollar is worthless that hoarding gold might not be the best option, you would be better off investing in Guns and canned goods.... "IF" you believe a depression type world is coming.

no ones gonna take gold in trade and you cant eat it and the guys with the guns are either going to be taking your food or be protecting theirs.

To sum it up his advice was if you wanted to invest in something in preperation for the downfall of our society... canned goods and guns would be his advise.

I agree for common man who can not afford a stash of gold that advice is valid. I am common man and the only thing we have in gold is a choker i bought for my wife once.

I enjoy watching what happens when gold jumps... I don't have any.

Yeah like Ruby ridge but I don't cut off shotguns either. Guy wants that and hack saws are cheap. Tax what i labor to grow and somebody gets to be compost. Don't much care who it is even if it's me. Sick of self appointed little dictators, and petty wanna be somebodies takin what I earn.
