Good post. Assume that someone will run a red light at every intersection and that every car will cut you off. Keep your head on a swivel and never take anything for granted.

Ref: vehicles turning left in your path. Two more signs of possible left turn trouble are:

1. vehicles approaching traveling a noticeably reduced speed

2. Vehicles that move over to the right, stop or slow down, and their front wheels begin to turn left.

Ref: slower Nomads. My wife is still complaining that I bought the black when she preferred the blue and silver. Its been 3 weeks. I told her just today that Black is always in style. She knows me well enough to know that I bought the black because it was an 07 and they had it discounted.

CaddmanQ - It is an optical illusion. Not NIT, Fresno State

Bill, the Doppler effect is no illusion. If it was, radar wouldn't work. OTOH, if you're real convincing in person maybe you could talk me out of a speeding ticket some day... ;)

"You honor, my client's aparent speed was only an illusion. Everyone knows it's not possible for a blue and silver one to go that fast."

As for the discount thing, please don't mention it to my wife. I paid extra to get a blue and silver one, and I didn't tell her the black one was cheaper. (It was an '03 and I bought the '04.)
