Not me, I have a hard enough time getting decent mileage out of my rear tires without doing that :)

I'm with Bob. Besides the $$$$ going up in smoke it is too much of a pain in the a$$ to replace the tire anyway.

Sort of a burial ritual, put them in the air instead of the land fill, or whatever they do with dead tires, some are recycled.

Rumor has it that those rubberoid shower thongs they sell at Walmart are made from recycled Bridgestones.
