Wow,

Shorts, no helmet . . . walking around. Very fortunate.

Did you notice the person on the other bike, with a child on the back, who stops in the other lane to look? Not too bright.

He was jabbering by the time his feet hit the pavement. I think it would take me a few minutes to get to where I'd be able to talk.............WOW! Luck be on his side.

Reminds me of a story:

Many moons ago, a friend was rear-ended in his truck by another truck, by someone close to our age. Now, as soon as he was hit and the truck came to a stop, my friend bounced out of the cab, promptly walked back to the truck that hit him, and slugged the guy so hard he knocked him cold. The DPS shows up, asks my friend why the other driver was unconscious and bleeding, and he just shrugged his shoulders and said something like "he must have hit his head."

I can see myself doing something similar, if that were me on the bike getting hit. If I were lucky enough to bounce off the ground like that, there's every chance I probably would have strolled immediately to the car, and slugged the b*tch.
