Where did your forum name come from?

Just curious how you came up with your forum name? I know some are nicknames, some are just made up.

Here's where mine came from - I was signing up for a forum for the first time several years back and had just heard a commercial on TV for this place:

I figured the cactus part was appropriate since I live in the desert, so it was the first thing that came to mind. I have been using on a number of forums ever since. Coincidentally, it's right across the street from a H-D dealer I frequent, which is where I took this picture from.

Mine is because I enjoy highway riding and spend a great deal of time getting to and from lunch and coffee meets via highway instead of back roads. It's not uncommon for me to take a 3 hour ride each way to have lunch with another rider.

I like primates. Monkeyman had a better ring to it than Apeman or Gorillaman. I've been MM on various forums for years. Same thing most other riders know me as.

Retiring or getting fired? Congrats on your retirement. I look forward to that every day (only 20 more years).

Mine a secret . . . What's my name? + What year I was born?

Edit: A bit more thought went into my Email. Taibhse is Gallic (Irish) for Ghost. Daid is Gallic for a father. I had a son who died, also I'm on my 4th marriage and don't get to see my daughters from the first 3.
