I am still not 100% sure but have booked a room. What route (and when) are those from Alberta taking to get there?

Depending on your available time Kevin/AB boys you could meet us either in Armstrong ...via Banff and Revelstoke...... or if you have the time maybe take the #3 Hwy and meet us at the crossing between Osoyoos and Grand Forks. You've probably all been on the #3 Hwy. but it's a nice road on a bike. But it'll probably take longer.
.....for sure you can bunk at our place Rick!

Here's my tentative plan for the trip there:
Saturday July 19 - Eagle Eye and I leave Calgary and head through the Crowsnest via Cranbrook and spend the night in Sandpoint.
Sunday July 20th - From Sandpoint south through Couer D'Alene and Plummer and then eastward through St.Maries and wander along Hwy 3 and perhaps 6 and eventually make our way to Clarkston for the night. (If you are in that area and don't ride the "old spiral highway" down into Lewiston you've missed one helluva ride!)
Monday July 21 - From Clarkston/Lewiston take a little day trip west along highway 12 through Pomeroy, Dayton and Waitsburg to Walla Walla. Have lunch there and trace our steps back to Lewiston (thought that Highway 128 looked interesting for the trip back but looks like the pavement runs out at a certain point) and then roll on into Orofino for the night.

Anyways, that's just my thoughts but I haven't run them past Eagle Eye yet. I've ridden through some of these areas and just can't wait to get back and explore these roads again. Anyone who wants to join up with us is welcome to come along for the ride.

I was planning on visiting some friends in Cour D Alene myself... I could meet up with you guys there .. or, if I manage to get my bike up to Barriere, I could head down there with Rick. Any thought of sweeping by Barriere Rick?

I might make it down there. Thinking of taking the toy hauler and camping on the river. Take the wife with me as she likes camping but not biking. So, I'll watch this thread for more info.

My wife is thinking of driving the motorhome down as well, as we haven't taken it out for a couple of years ... possible camping friend?

I looked into that and it seems there is rarely a train running thru there. Check out the reviews.

So does the hotel. It's not a very active line.
