Where was my Nomad made at?

Anyone know if my 2007 Nomad was completely made and assembled in Japan , or if it was made in part or assembled at the Lincoln Nebraska plant?

Additional question.
Kawasaki gives one hour tours of the Lincoln Nebraska plant the first Thursday of every month if you have a dealer make an appointment at least 3 days in advance. Has anyone on this forum ever done this? Any impressions?

Define "assembled." Mine was in a crate. The TC Kawasaki dealer had to finish assembly on it. Motor is in the frame and the wiring is 99% complete. Everything else has to be put on the bike.

Semper Fi!

p.s., sounds like you are trying to find if you are riding an "American," made bike!

Don't remember exactly what city mine was made in. I'll have to get into my IE fav's and find the VIN site that tells. I know mine was made at a port town Southwest of Tokyo.

Where was my Nomad made at?

Thanks to all for replys

If the Nomad were in part manufactured at Lincoln would be interesting to see them come down the line.
The very early Goldwings were all made in Japan. My Goldwing 1500 SE (that I traded in on the Nomad) and all present Goldwings are made in Ohio. I have read that some felt that there was a lowering in build quality with the change. I work in the plastic and die cast mold trade some times dealing with Japanese companies, it is hard to get quick and accurate information at times between the USA based branch and the Mother company in Japan. So it may be a good thing if the Nomad is completly made in Japan except for the from the crate assembly done by the dealer.

Good historical information. I have been reading about this myself. Actually this is part of Kawasaki's history. Acording to THE KAWASAKI STORY by IAN FALLOON (page 10 ) the Rikuo the Japan build Harley was made with tooling and drawings supplyed by Harley by a company called Meguro. Guess who bought out Meguro in 1960? None other than Kawasaki.
Thanks for the web. refference.
