Trip, it's just the floor boards. If you go down really hard you can get to the bracket that holds the floor boards, but you'll never get to the pipes.

If you went any further, you'd end up grinding to a halt on the front engine guards.

Yup, you go from making noise with the floor boards, to using up all the travel in the hinges on the boards, to lightly scraping the brackets, then not far beyond that you come to a halt.

I meant to do it, just so I could tell you guys how it works

Or perhaps it was an accidental lack of finesse :(

Same one still being discussed.

There are some parking blocks and some posts that I like to work with in the same parking lot, but they were snow bound.

Some time I'll go one of them and post it.

I think it would great fun to have some type of riding competition someday, for Kawanow members.

By the way , for those of you that would like to do this type of practice but are concerned about dropping the bike ( which you probably will do) it would be advisable to remove your bags and put something like pipe insulation or a garden hose section around your guards. If you do drop it you won't do any damage to your bike.
