Simple Debaffle on my Voyager
I did a simple mod to my stock mufflers on my 2013 Voyager. I simply took a 3/4" diameter steel bar about 30" long and sharpened one end to a point. Then I inserted it inside the muffler and drove it up inside with a sledge hammer. That didn't seem to do too much for sound so I drove it up through the next plate about 20" in. That made the difference. Nice low tone with a little bit of rumble. Enough that my friends noticed and complimented on the sound. I also have noticed that the bike runs cooler and my mpg have increased 1 or 2 mpg. I did this mod while the exhaust was still mounted on the bike. No cutting or drilling needed. I later took a 1" diameter rod and expanded the size a bit more. That helped a little more. I suspect if a person could get a drill bit just under the size of the internal pipe and drilled from the back all the way to the front then that would be superb. Then you would still have some muffler function but much less back pressure and better cooling. Also the popping is minimal but you can control that by holding in the clutch for a few seconds before letting it out on you downshifting. Hope this helps somebody.

I used a 1 3/8' hole saw on mine. Did this as soon as I had the 600 mile service done.
